boxes

The idea for exposing cyanotype prints on the backs of boxes came after seeing a similar idea executed on the back of a Kodak film box. The print I saw was presented as an unfolded flat template. This got me curious over what the box would have looked like folded into an object. I set about exposing prints on the backs of raisin packages (these were easiest to get ahold of) before reverse folding them into boxes again. I gave each a coat of gloss gel in an attempt to extend their longevity.
